She's never been overweight though :laughga: I mean, there's a difference between being overweight and having a couple extra pounds.

extra pounds is literally a nice way of saying over weight

extra=over
pounds=weight

Uhm, I'm not feeling y'all on this one. I am so glad she scrapped Monsterball 1.0 and revamped it for the second run. I can't at that entire stage design and she seems kinda "off" to me in this particular clip. Let's also not forget she fell like a hundred times during this song on various MB1.0 tourdates. The energy in Poker Face Monsterball 2.0 is soooooo much better...

I went to both shows and honestly the monster ball 1.0 was more enjoyable for me. The Monster Ball 2.0 was fun too but too much was going on and that mcdonalds yellow hair was too distracting.

Praying for you.

LOL. Just kidding. We're all allowed to our different opinions. I feel like the second version was way more theatrical and a real "pop show" as I like them. So for you, it was perhaps too theatre as for me, I couldn't get enough of it and TMB 2.0 remains my favourite Gaga tour so far (and yes, I have seen them all too).

- MB1.0 was the greatest live pop concert I had ever experienced at the time and I will never forget the feels it induced.

-MB2.0 was like MB1.0 on steroids and it elevated my obsession with not only Lady Gaga but everything that pop concert could be!! It was EVERYTHING.

- To the comments that Gaga "wasn't into" ARTPOP, that is just ignorance. Gaga, naturally, wasn't into the ERA that ARTPOP became, because of all the chaos surrounding her. But the ART she produced at the time, I believe, is some of her most personal and intensely passionate work. Which is why we all continue to discuss it.

...and for the record, my all-time favorite pop concert tour (BY MILES) is artRAVE: the ARTPOP Ball. Enjoyed it infinitely more than any concert I've attended (and there's been 100+)... Yes even more than MB 1 or 2. artRAVE was life.

The use of all the heavy synths during the Fame/Fame Monster eras completely slayed me and I desperately need that part of those eras to come back omggg nothing gets me off musically more than heavy 80's inspired ominous synths :dead:

THIS!

I know! Ugh I remember she performed each song differently like the more rock version of Poker Face on Jonathan Ross with the quacks!

That was so special about Gaga, she sung pop songs on radio and nobody expected musically wise how rough or avangarde or classical piano trained or vocally powerful her songs can be performed.

The performances were a surprise for everybody. I hope she makes new versions and arrangments for her next tour, when not, it will be boring to hear the regular versions with the back tracking, it feels like to hear a normal cd.

This performance is so authentic and avangarde'rockish. Something for example the puke performance want to be, it feelt like a fancy rebel tenny behaviour, it remeber me of a another young lady who want to be sooooo crazy > M.C. Just smoke and mirrors.

But this posted Poker Face performance is one of the sort, which has substance and real artistic vibe, such performances has created the gaga hype and gained so much respect and fans. it's not just wannabe buz from the inner.

You are all gonna hate me for this.....but I look back on so many Fame performances and almost cringe.

I feel that she is so much more passionate on stage now. She doesn't feel constricted.

This Gaga is completely different to today's Gaga. She seems much happier these days

This makes me even more excited for LG5.

Sometimes, I wish I could put that short era of the Fame Monster on repeat sometimes, from late 2009 to the beginning of 2011... And BTW era too up until she ended the year with Heavy Metal Lover at New Years Eve, so much of that energrized creativity was on steroids, think about the variety she presented us with each single's promotion and I loved how she made different versions of her songs as she did in those glory Fame days.

New fans keep complaining about our nostalgia, say Gaga was fake then... But seeing and living through all that felt so real just like she put soul in her music. She changed, but the soul remains whether electronic, pop, or jazz.

Do your own research.

I really don't like this one. She even get her cue wrong at 0:53. Also, she looks like she is preoccupied with something else

Exactly my point. I didn't make this thread to compare 2015 Gaga to 2009 Gaga I just made it because I'm feeling nostalgic and I love this performance. I enjoy Gaga performances in 2015 too but I prefer the performances of her own songs.
