I was literally just about to make a thread like this.

A lot of fans have it all backwards - not just in this fanbase but pop culture in general. Fans act like they deserve something, just because they're being a "good" fan. But it's the other way around. Artists down owe us anything, but we owe the artist

Gaga has already provided us with countless hours worth of entertainment, and we've even been able to create an entire online community thanks to her. And yet some fans still demand that she only makes a certain kind of music, as if they own her? Nobody forced you to buy her albums. Nobody forces you to go to her shows. You don't have to be her fan. You're a fan because of your own enjoyment and you can thank Gaga for that, so you're in no place to demand anything.

[/angry rant]

If you think our fans are rough, the melt down of Britney fans when she announced two more years of her Vegas residency was epic. Hardcore fans trashing her. I couldn't believe it. Lol

There us no point in complaining about Gaga's choices, least of all on a fan site. Criticizing her work is another matter. That's always acceptable.

It's not anyone's place to tell her what to do. It's very clear that this was exactly what caused her breakdown that culminated in the ARTPOP era's demise.

If you're only a fan of Gaga's pop material, then you should probably only focus on that and wait for it. Some fans go years without album releases.

Meanwhile, those who are also fans of other things can get what they want too. Gaga's versatility is a boon to all of her fans, because she's always around even when she's recording.

Not to mention the fact that practically none of the female divas who released an album in 2013 have released a follow up. Her C2C tour just finished a couple months ago. She released TIHTY a month ago and she gave us a fabulous Tom Ford ad with I Want Your Love about a month ago too. She is on the number 2 show on cable. People want more and more and more. Lol

I've said the same thing (as well as many others) for a while, and it's sad, but there are always going to be those people that care most about getting what they want and whining about it when they don't, so I found that the easiest solution is to just scroll past them. Such opinions aren't worthy of recognition.

No I'm not going to support everything she does. For example, I don't like jazz music at all and I think it's very boring + she can sing jazz after 20-30 years not now. I'm here for her pop songs and that's all.

She can sing jazz whenever she wants.

That's not the same and you know it. All the other pop divas left the game winning, Katy with the huge PRISM era followed by an amazing tour, Beyonce constantly being praised for her innovative album release. Gaga? Left after the biggest disappointment of her career. Of course it leaves a lot to be desired.

Some people are just not happy with anything. Next week she'll cure cancer and people will say, "well what about AIDS. Doesn't she care?" SMH

There is no point in getting angry about what she is or isn't doing with her career. There is literally nothing you can do to change anything. Even if she happened to read a comment you made begging her for LG5 before anything else, you really think she's going to listen to some random comment on the Internet?

Make like Elsa and let it go. If you don't like jazz, don't buy the album and listen to what you do like until she releases her next pop album.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

Left the game winning? Huh? Money and popularity only last so long and can only do so much. Oh and it's not a game - this is her life. She's an actual person and she's not your puppet.

Gaga has actually accomplished things none of her contemporaries have even dared to try. Have you seen Katy or Beyonce step outside of their genres? Shock the general public with their voices instead of an album release gimmick? Any of them ~this~ close to getting an Oscar nomination? Have any of them done so well in stepping outside of music entirely and impress people with their acting talent? I don't think so.

She's killing it right now. Across the board.

Your idea of what's "left to be desired" for some fans is such a vapid, empty perspective of success. Everything she has done to date, especially in 2015, has been beyond impressive for those of us who consider her creativity and bravery to be the most important part of her.
