How do you feel about this note Gaga wrote to us?

It is late because, just like with the Applause video unfortunately, I was given a week to plan and execute it. It is very devastating for someone like me, I devote every moment of my life to creating fantasies for you. All my my most successful videos were planned over a period of time when I was rested and my creativity was honored. Those who have betrayed me gravely mismanaged my time and health and left me on my own to damage control any problems that ensued as a result. Millions of dollars are not enough for some people. They want billions. Then they need trillions. I was not enough for some people. They wanted more. I am very grateful to the photographers and designers who have always stood by me to make sure my fans are never aware of the things that happen behind the scenes, but unfortunately after my surgery I was too sick, too tired, and too sad to control the damage on my own. My label was not aware that this was going on. The next few months of ARTPOP will truly be its beginning. Because those who did not care about ARTPOP’s success are now gone, and the dreams I have been planning can now come to fruition. Please forgive me that I did not foresee this coming, I never thought after all the years of hard work that those I called friends and partners would ever care so little at a time I needed them the most. Give me a chance to show you the meaning of seeing art all around you. Open your hearts to me again that I may show you the joy of us coming together through our talents, that we are stronger as a unit than when we are alone. Let me be for you the Goddess that I know I truly am, let me show you the visions that have been in my mind for two years. I love you. Forgive me monsters. Forgive me ARTPOP. You are my whole world

I'm indifferent right now. Gaga has understood that words aren't enough but actions are and that's what she's been trying to do since the beginning of the year. She was still affected at the time and she didn't understand the importance of actions but now she does. I feel like this note is irrelevant now because I feel she grew up.

Totally forgot about that note! I'm really bummed that ARTPOP didn't get totally executed the way Gaga wanted, regardless of who was to blame.

Yup. Gaga didn't know more things weren't going to go her way but it did which is why he barely had much ARTPOP promo in 2014 but she's grown up now and learned from her mistakes.

Hope this attitude goes on til LG5 happens. Btw I feel like we kinda are a little more distant from her than we used to be. She's so cautious with words today she barely tells us anything. I hope we'll hear more from her once LG5 commences.

I completely agree with you, I think that all of this is done in purpose to possibly rebrand herself. I love this strategy but I'm honestly waiting to see how it will turn out when more concrete events will happen.

I mean who could blame her for being cautious with her words? Just in the very last thread I made people complained about how Gaga posted pics with Tony again when she "promised" to just work on AHS and then LG5 (which she actually did not do at all).

Personally, I wouldn't be able to handle fans like this all the time. I would have cut off all personal contact to the fans on social media.

Yeah, that's why I don't think it's a bad thing she's being cautious, but if only she could balance it out and be cautious and interactive at the same time, that'd be wonderful though I'm not asking much as of current. I like the secrecy she holds for LG5, but when LG5 is released, I expect her to stay interactive with people and tell us about her new music. I like how she hypes us.

Reading this note after almost 2 years makes me feel sad. I don't know how I felt but I think I was irritated when I first read that note but now I am aware of the implications of what happened way back and I understand it now.

Because the label made Gaga pay for everything herself and she ain't gonna pay 10 million just so her stans have better numbers to brag about on ATRL. The G.U.Y. video alone was a huge financial loss for Gaga, she paid $750,000 for the location alone.
