Obnoxious, loud, annoying, ignorant, crude, headache-inducing? I mean, I could probably keep going.

That doesn't make them any less American lol

to me it seems like this is the kind of thing only people who are already on our side will love

the people (conservatives) who we really need to convince to change their position,  will look at this and just see that it confirms their beliefs. i've been cursing since the second grade but its viewed as low class and trashy by conservative voters and this would only confirm that in their minds. and i doubt it would do much for someone who is on the fence(no pun intended :derpga:) would also be more likely to be turned off by it.

also i have an aversion to seeing people think its alright to use children to promote their political agenda. i have no real justification for it but it just comes off tacky to me.

but was this actually directed at conservatives? i doubt it. its just video for people who are already on their side to let them know they are selling shirts for them to buy.

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

I don't have to apologize for your own faults. You misinterpreted a harmless joke that has nothing to do with race and started calling me a racist, not even owning up to the fact that you overreacted or misread what I said.

Again, I repeat, it had nothing to do with race. That isn't a matter of opinion. That's literally what is says and reads. You and some others misinterpreted it and now you're saying I should apologize to all of them. Are you even listening to yourself? Responding to you doesn't even matter as I'm sure you'll just ignore what I say and say something along the lines of "Lol can't even face up to being racist!" or something.

I understand where you're coming from, but when you say someone should be "deported" and that person happens to be Mexican, it's hard not to assume it's about race. Think of the context and try to understand why your comment would be taken the wrong way, as you're saying everyone here is doing. Had you started out just saying the kids were annoying, loud, and obnoxious, we probably wouldn't be here discussing your intention right now, but you made a comment that suspiciously is related to a problem specific to people of this race. And honestly, it does sortof seem like you're backpedaling now; I don't know if I believe you when you say it wasn't race related, but I'm personally giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you simply made a poor choice in how you first worded your feelings.

Ambrosia

I think, but could be mistaken, it's part of Hispanic culture to create a pinata in the shape of some potential or current elected official to bash, break, and get candy out of.  It's not just Trump.  Give me a stick; I have a few I'd like a go at.

Pinatas - not just for kids.

I came into this thread thinking it would be unanimous that the kids were intensely annoying. Nobody had even commented and the title suggested that the post's reason for being wasn't the subject matter, but how horrible the video was. After I posted I realized that everyone was actually supportive of the video, liking it because they agree that Trump is the antichrist or something. Sure, it would be reasonable that people would misinterpret my comment, but seriously. What I'm angry at is people just not accepting that they didn't misinterpret it, calling me a racist, etc.

This video is awful, and I don't care about its subject matter. I ****ing hate the "FCK H8" Campaign thing the same people had going on. It's like me joking on those sorts of videos with "Damn, these people are awful. Even I'd bully them." These videos are so obnoxious and crude that probably the majority of people would realize that of course I'm not homophobic, instead I'm commenting on the video itself. The comment transcends their s-xuality/race, and instead is just talking about their attitude and voices. You may argue that most would not realize that, but come on. If this video was on another subject that wasn't against Trump, people here would be destroying it for how annoying it is. Frankly I'm amazed that this many people support this video when I 100% assumed everyone would be attacking it for how terribly it's made.

I'm not going to apologize for others own misinterpretations. All I can do is try to explain myself. When the response to that is "I don't believe you" or simply ignoring what I said and calling me a racist, then I have no reason to be here.

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?
