For me it was a grower and had so much potential blowing up on radio. Where do you guys think it would have peaked at on Hot 100? People back then were really hoping Gaga would deliver something different, and Venus could be the one. It was different enough from everything to stand on its own. It has that signature Gaga sound but it was something different and huge! It would have blown Roar out of the water. Then it should have been DWUW, then Applause, and finally MANiCURE. Very experimental with that insanely melodic and commercial chorus.Gaga is at her best and usually the most successful when she strikes that balance.Who would have thought a song like Bad Romance could smash pre-TFM?
