People are curious and it will help desensitize people to something that shouldn't be so taboo in the first place. Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet. If the post surgery went well, which it seems it did, maybe some will be a little more comfortable about the whole thing.For the people going, "ew, gramma" and "I don't want to see that!", you know, there's no one forcing you to buy this book and browse it. She isn't coming up to your doorstep to flash you. If she isn't your cup of tea, that's fine, but I find the body shaming a little extra. It's especially appalling, in my opinion, being that there are so many members on this site with their own self esteem/body issues. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show.
