PartySick 159,822
She's not the only one who did that so if Gaga does it and they compare her to Madonna they are just delusional That's how a ton of old records from the '30s and '40s are. My grandparents have a bunch in storage that are basically the bands playing the entire album and transforming the end of one song to the beginning of the next If I could remember any of their names, I'd give an example Something that's sort of like this, I'd be here for album interludes too like Janet Jackson has done 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

AlphaMonster 1,806
In that case the songs should flow into each other to continue the flow. Madonna did this with Confessions on a Dancefloor. If it doesn't effect the start and finish of each song too much I think its a nice concept. But I'd avoid it for any Madonna comparisons.I don't think there would be any comparisons on this. This is just making your album a huge dj set. I can't recall any albums, but I strongly believe that it had been done by someone else.
Schwerk 7,243
She's not the only one who did that so if Gaga does it and they compare her to Madonna they are just delusionalI know she's not the only one but as we know from the past media and even the musicindustry nowadays try everything to pit artists against eachother. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
Schwerk 7,243
She's not the only one who did that so if Gaga does it and they compare her to Madonna they are just delusional Ofcourse I know Madonna isnt the only one but it was pretty recent and she's in the same genre plus she really marketed the record saying it was like a DJ set non stop from start to finish. Its not the only one, but one that easily comes to mind. Id avoid any Madonna comparison as much as possible because M seemed to feed of that in the past plus we know how media and even the musicindustry nowadays try everything to pit artists against eachother for buzz.I also feel it doesn't really fit the way people listen to music nowaydays, even though I would like it. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

TopazBlue 2,100
HEALTH's latest album kinda does this; one song ends with a noise that goes into the next song. 🔻 𝔫𝔬 𝔭𝔯𝔢𝔧𝔲𝔡𝔦𝔠𝔢, 𝔫𝔬 𝔧𝔲𝔡𝔤𝔢𝔪𝔢𝔫𝔱, 𝔟𝔲𝔱 𝔟𝔬𝔲𝔫𝔡𝔩𝔢𝔰𝔰 𝔣𝔯𝔢𝔢𝔡𝔬𝔪 🔺
Bradley 59,023
Justin Timberlake is pretty good at this imo (just realized I have him as my avi), he makes interludes/preludes between his songs to connect them together and it's kinda interesting to see the transition.
