I didn't say they were on the same level but the response you provided is like comparing a singer with vocals like Britney, who can dance her heart out, but let's be serious, she can't sing very well, to a singer like Lady Gaga.Gaga is quite vocally talented and can sing in just about any music genre. She isn't legendary yet, but wait another 10 or 15 years. I am in no way diminishing Mariah's vocal prowess but I am making it very clear that Gaga is a superior vocalist in a league of her own. You can't expect someone to be a legend within 7 years. Besides, we were talking about Gaga's vocals here. I think we all know Gaga has amazing vocals and that she can sing in just about any genre. Do I think she's on the same level as Mariah Carey? Vocal range wise, no, because we all know how high Mariah can go, but Gaga can surely sing pretty high, too. Proof of that is the 2015 Oscars performance.Anyway, Mariah is a superior vocalist but Gaga isn't too far behind when she can beautifully sing anything her heart desires.
