They've probably kept in touch seeing as Gaga supports Hillary in the 2016 presidency :green:

Hillary didn't support homos-xuals until recently.  Bernie Sanders marched in gay pride parades like 20 years ago.  Hillary "changes" her mind on a lot of issues for political gain.

Gaga should really be supporting Bernie.

Vice President Gaga is coming, obviously.

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

Since when does being personally against the concept of gay marriage equal "not supporting homos-xuals"? Not only that, but of course there's tons of political figures that were for gay marriage before Hilary. The difference between supporting Hilary Clinton and supporting Bernie Sanders is the difference between supporting someone who has a definite chance of getting the democratic nomination and someone who has 0% of winning any presidential election ever.

Lol Bernie has a 0% chance? The republicans are a mess right now.  The democrats could nominate Ronald McDonald and he would beat the republican nominee.

It's time for a revolution! It's time to #feelthebern

Less than zero. Damn John Mccain and Sarah Palin got 45% of the vote. Bernie Sanders would cause all centre-left democrats to vote republican no matter the candidate, and all past republican voters would just be certain in their voting preference for 2016. America will not vote in a self-proclaimed socialist, just as America won't vote in Trump. Maybe 10% of the United States thinks Bernie Sanders is their top choice, and he may very well be the best potential president, but that doesn't mean 50% of the population is going to vote for him. Hilary Clinton appeals to ALL democrats and even centre left republicans. Bernie Sanders appeals to far left democrats and the internet.

Bernie's got like a 10% chance. He's always dead on with every social issue where as Hillary has voiced different opinions in the past but he doesn't have experience with the economic side of running the country which is why im hesitant. Hillary's had decades of experience and worked next to Obama which did a great job btw. Theres only so much you can do when the republicans are vetoing every decision its nauseating. I would completely support a BerniexHillary campaign though he's got his **** together

I gotta go with "since always". (Or, at the very least, since the so-called "Defense of Marriage Act".)

That said, there are a bunch of reasons why Gaga is likely to remain with Hillary over Bernie, including just her having gotten to know the Clintons personally.

That's ridiculous. Not supporting gay marriage may be reason to either religious belief or the the concept that marriage is a religious practice. Are we now saying that every single president of the United States, and more so, the majority of the world's leaders of the past who have helped in the fight against aids and discrimination all non-supportive of homos-xuals because they personally weren't for gay marriage?

In response to the " Gaga should be supporting Bernie because Hilary didn't support gay marriage soon enough" comments, first off are people not allowed to evolve on issues? It's kinda the point of activism, to change people's minds and influence society.  Furthermore, shouldn't Hillary's evolution on same s-x marriage be a testament to all of the hard work that we all have done to demand our voices being heard? Secondly are we really only concerned with one issue? One that has, in most parts been solved, seeing as we have marriage equality in all 50 states now. Now I agree that we have a LONG way to go with lgbt issues in this country( bullying, workplace discrimination laws, hate crime inclusion ect...), but let's now crucify Hillary for not jumping on board sooner. Sometimes it just takes people time, and she has recognized that she was slow. Lastly, it's Gaga's vote. If she wants to vote for trump then that is by all means her right as a citizen, and it is incredibly incentive and frankly disrespectful of anyone to say that she or anyone else "should" be voting for someone based on your preconceived ideas of what they stand for

I'll say that without hesitation, yes. Their support was conditional, i.e., half-assed. Also, religion itself is ridiculous. It doesn't excuse anything.
