I mean  I can't be the only one a trifle upset by this. Gaga's obviously a trend setter but everyone else gets the praise while Gaga gets dragged to hell for not being the first to do something that she does.

You guys are just embarrassing yourselves. Just because someone wants to experiment and be creative & artistic, she is suddenly getting inspired by ARTPOP and is copying Gaga? Wow, you all really need to get yourselves and have some common sense. Ya'll drag her for not experimenting and not being artistic & creative, and now you are dragging her for saying that she wants be experimental, artistic, and creative? And let's not be delusional and act like ARTPOP was the most creative, artistic, experimental, and beautiful piece of work, 'cause it's not and we all know that Gaga has done AND can do way better than that. 

This confims she doesn't see herself as an artist and it's just a phase or era...

Lots of artist have try to be artsy. Madonna did it with Like a Prayer, she combined art and pop into one masterpiece.

A lot of other entertainers and celebrities have put out apps, some of them did it way before Gaga. You obviously didn't understand what she meant when she said that PRISM was going to be dark. Gaga didn't invent being artistic and creative, hun. Katy already had green hair in 2010 for a photoshoot, and that mechanical horse was there because the name of the song is Dark Horse. I'll be the first to say it's residual stan pain from Gaga being dragged through the dirt for the slightest bit of similarity yet someone (in this case Katy) can be SO SIMILAR and nothing is said.

It's frustrating 

They'll drag Gaga for a song that sounds vaguely similar to a 30 year old song but ARTPOP and KatyPerryPop with a new artistic Katy is praised/ignored? Ridiculous
