So? Katy was cheetos.

What's the point to single out 1 Gaga outfit and s

I wasnt defending his point, just explaining what he meant with chicken nugget outfit. But to be fair they are different situations, the nugget was Gaga just going out, while the cheeto was Katy's Halloween COSTUME according to google :emma:

A better comparison would be that time she wore an outfit that looked like McDonalds, i think it was by Moschino.

EDIT: This ugly thing

As if being artistic and creative was a trend, or some kind of experiment.

Such a ridiculous woman, being handled by her label to get more fans, and to follow what's "on"

So she just confirmed what we knew for a long time, that she's not creative and artistic.

Finally she understood that.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

I don't know if this is her humor, but it seems like she's just playing with us :duck: Like, why does she keep saying all those things that Gaga said? I'm not even mad, I just think it's funny and she might do it on purpose :laughga: She knows people will get annoyed!

She never said anything about it, she implied it, like I said.

In 2012 she planned a "real ****ing dark" record that would absolutely be incomparable to Teenage Dream and revealed that she was looking for an acoustic sound and then, after a silent period, the concept changed from dark to light, from acoustic to electronic, from a new producer to Dr. Luke finishing 90% of the album (and thanks to Ke$ha we all know how he has the power to basically decide an entire album concept no matter how much the artist may disagree).

And then she said this:

http://www.theguardian.com/music/2013/oct/01/katy-perry-plans-acoustic-folk-album

Even if I'm wrong and she wasn't planning the Janis Joplin style album in 2012 already, it shows that her experimentation is not in the least inspired by ARTPOP since there is nothing acoustic, folk or Janis Joplin-like about it.

I think Katy going in a folk direction would be amazing and closer to what she's actually good at singing. She started out doing Alanis-Morisette-like songs, very inspired by Jagged Little Pill (after her religious music, though), and then we end up with I Kissed a Girl. (I loved OOTB, but it's very different from what initially inspired her in music).

About Prism turning out the way it did, I'm pretty sure she said at one point that she began that album with a darker theme because she was going through a hard time in her life but then decided she didn't want to make a sad album, she wanted to instead make something that would be happy and light. So she herself made commentary about why it changed, and unless she's also somewhere somehow stated that her label forced her or that she didn't have much control, I think it's fairly safe to assume it was her decision.

EDIT: I would agree that the fact the album came out so Pop would be label interference if she was hoping for something more acoustic, but I would also argue that the album has a lot of songs I wouldn't necessarily call energetic-Pop-Bops outside of the singles.
