I'll be the first to say it's residual stan pain from Gaga being dragged through the dirt for the slightest bit of similarity yet someone (in this case Katy) can be SO SIMILAR and nothing is said.

It's frustrating 

They'll drag Gaga for a song that sounds vaguely similar to a 30 year old song but ARTPOP and KatyPerryPop with a new artistic Katy is praised/ignored? Ridiculous

because artistic is vague and means nothing unless she literally starts doing a bunch of things on it that are what gaga did in her era

I love Gaga, but I couldn't think of anything ARTPOP related when someone wants to try artsy. Unless she (Katy) tries to portray a look in the AP era, then I would say, yes, it's Gaga's impact. But from what she's saying, anything is possible. 

For all we know, she could be artsy one second, then changed her mind and do something from her root.

Prism was so dark. There's never been anything that totally cra-zay since maybe If I Were a Boy by Bayonse. I think it sold the most albums ever in history too? I don't dislike Katy at all. I think she's funny and sweet and all that good stuff. Sure I'm no fan of her music but meh. But let's be real, she's been trying to "out Gaga" Gaga for years and she's always a step behind. Obviously because she's inspired by Gaga's style same as a lot of other people which isn't something to be ashamed about, really.

But anyway I've seen you arguing  I don't take kindly to insults or general straw grasping so I've made it a point to not argue with you specifically. Especially since I have nothing against Katy.
