Many people left between late BTW Ball to ARTPOP era.

There were many folks hating on BTW the time I joined this cvlt site, which most of them ow have been banned or left and formed that other Gaga fansite we are not allowed to speak of.

yeah but bandwagooners left allready during the BTW. Most of people who were pissed for CTC didn't leave, but are pationately waiting, cause as I said most of bandwagooning fans allready left in the past and will be back when Gaga starts slaying again

I disagree. The BTW era was Amazing and a huge success. So many people,  including her fans, loved her new sound with the album. 

But the ARTPOP era was just a huge mess.. A lot of fans were completely done with her.. The C2C made it only worse, because right after the mess Gaga chose the Jazz direction..

The one-two punch of Born This Way and ARTPOP imo. At first she lost casual fans and the GP, but then she started loosing real fans and stans started to jump ship. I'm still here though

If anything C2C helped. A lot. Like, if you were a fan and left, you were really dumb as it was just a small era (albeit a bit annoying and long). She regained the respect and flawless positive exposure she had lost, and fans that left noticed she was coming back

It surprises me that most people say Born This Way, I think the self-acceptance message really made a lot of people fans and helped them a lot.

I would have to say ARTPOP because it was really lackluster and I feel like a lot of people stopped being interested in her

After Born This Way, and ARTPOP added fuel to the fire.

When she had her hip injury, starting hanging around Terry Richardson and went on a mini hiatus, fans jumped ship.

Then she released ARTPOP that received mixed reviews from fans and some just left because she did not rekindle the success and quality of her previous albums.  

I can see why fans are saying Born This Way with the Judas controversy, scrapped video for The Edge of Glory and poor performance of Marry the Night at the end of the era.

However, I can imagine C2C would have lost her some fans and the whole "I don't like pop anymore" fiasco.

I agree, but she chose the Jazz direction to cleanse her image. 

I did not pay any attention to C2C, but if it weren't for that album, the GP would still be calling her an attention seeking talentless *****. 

At least she got to showcase her vocal ability and different direction of music. I can see why some stans were pissed though because I weren't jumping for joy too.

Applause was a great pop song and the fact that it debuted with mediocre sales is a proof that many fans left during/after the btw era.

Gaga has moved from a very well presented, just slightly edgy, pop star , to an artist with an independent spirit who speaks her mind and is less likely to follow standard pop star tropes and practices.  Losing a certain amount of fans who only want a polished Pop product is expected.
