Looks like Iris will be replaced now Countess have hired Holden's mother? I think Countess knew or had an inkling since the time they talked on the lobby, she just wait what Iris will do. Andy McQueen 4,484 Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 The backstory of Liz Taylor made me cry, the whole theme of "I never knew how to live until I died" that Iris said also reminded me of "So confront yourself with this question: Who would you be and what would you do if you weren't afraid?" from the New Yorker article about Gaga's commitement - you know what I mean? Like the whole episode was about this topic, being fearless and truly to you really are, being aware of your self-worth - it was such an honest Lady Gaga spirit, I love it so much, now wonder this episode is one of Gaga's favorites and also it made me think about my own life since I'm gay and not outed to my homophobic parents. I'm in such awe of this episode, Gaga looked phenomenal (I'm so glad they gave her more natural looking eyebrows for the flashback scenes finally tbh) and Denis O'Hare and Kathy Bathes truly *killed* it, best actors alive tbh!!! Its funny we're able to see first the backstory of Liz Taylor than the backstory of The Countess. Or maybe we're getting it on the last episode (together with that 6min. "intro" with no dialogue) And that scenes on the school left me speechless specially those kids kissing. I mean I'm already 21 and I haven't even experiencing first kiss. Who the hell is taking care of Holden's sister, the "not-vampire" one, if John is busy being a psycho-hunter in the hotel, and Alex taking care of Holden in the hotel ?
