I never called her a pathological liar, I'm only reacting to lego saying there's no real reason to not believe her when she's hyping something because there are only two examples of her promising something that didn't come true.

I'm just saying there are, apparently 40 (see above) examples and my approach isn't even negative, but just realistic.

Oh my gosh, people change all the time, It's 3 years ago and she reflects and grows as a person and artist, what everyone should do. I'm surely she talks about the whole perfume money machine plans that some people behind the scene planned with her ( second perfume and continuing ) She is not their money cow and not your slave. She was heavy involved in the development of the first fragrance FAME and it was visually innovative - it's ok. But she is a singer and musician, an artist. That's what she want to focus on.

She just don't want to make meaningless things for money printing. It makes unhappy and kill the artist in you.

Things are changing and she get wiser. And about the selfies, it surely was not connecting with fans, but with celebrities.

About perfume:  Your own fault if you take such superficial things so important and hypes like hell, like it's an messiahs. I'm glad she uses her brain and her heart and will not become a money cow like Britney Spears for greedy people.

I think Fame perfume she really liked and enjoyed, it felt like more of her went into the perfume.

Eau De Gaga was probably pressured onto her to make another perfume since fame was wildly successful, even though she didn't want to.

I don't think she was talking about the Fame perfume. It was a masterpiece

I feel the same way about that as I feel about the app: we can't trust her EVER when she's talking. I mean, in 2014 she couldn't stop describing the app as something that would change her career and open up a whole new experience for her fans etc. etc. and then she just dropped and ignored it and implied that it was just Troy's idea and she never gave a **** about it in the first place.

Like, seriously, this is no shade, but she can obviously fake excitement and passion about anything if her label/team/whoever wants her to. So I'm just not gonna believe anything she says in the present or future for my own sanity.

I don't know.. I mean, the app was already a mess long before she and Troy got into trouble. And I mean, she did release Eau de Gaga - she actually implied that she had to release it because it was planned by Troy already so that contradicts your claim.

Sure the contracts concluded after the Fame fragrance, Troy was still there at that time.

And she released second fragrance just one year after their break up, but the planning began at a much earlier stage and the contracts were signed. So.....

I think that Gaga has more power than you're letting on. I think that if she wanted to follow through with something artistic, they would let her. She just needs to stand up and say "Hey, this is what I want. This will be successful and I will promote the **** out of it because I believe in it". That was the magic behind The Fame. She believed in the music she was promoting and fought for it! It's what got her where she is, and I think that she's getting too comfortable in trusting her label and handlers that are trying to create a cash cow at the expense of her creativity and passion.

Gaga has some power and her label respects her talent. However, she is still signed to a label that sets the release schedules, ultimately selects the track list and singles and decides on the type of radio promotion she will be receiving. 

Something artistic? She's already done that and continues to do that. The label isn't going to let her release some experimental music as one of her major releases. They are going to give her more lead way than some newbie who struggles to sell 100k worldwide, but there are also more expectations and stress that come along with releases from the big name artists...so sometimes it ends up being a trade off in the long run.

You stated "never trust a word she says". That implies that someone is a pathological liar, that's why Lego used that terminology. Your phrase insinuated that it isn't just situations and circumstances that are changing, but a person set out to lie about everything.

There is a vast difference in an artistic type person, who gets overexcited about a project that isn't one hundred per cent confirmed and someone who you can't  trust a word they say. Gaga is at the mercy of a record label and their decisions. She may be told that many things are a possibility or a go, that end up not working out.

I wrote that, "for my own sanity" I will simply stop believing that what she says will come true. And looking at the likes and the minimal negative response (and 90% of the minimal negative response is just rooted in a misreading of my post) I'm not the only one who agrees with that.

I already discussed the overexcitedness approach on a previous page and I don't think it's a sufficient argument, because it only explains half of the problem.

You said that your main conclusion is never trust a word she says. I disagree with you. I don't believe that everything that comes out of her mouth is an intentional lie.

I believe that often times Gaga shares things too early or has big plans and wants to share them with her fans. I also believe that a lot of projects and different things in general fell through with the BTW era closing faster than expected and with the ARTPOP era ending up without an organized, committed management team. I'm sure she was disappointed in not being able or allowed to carry through with many of the projects that were discussed by her label and management...but **** happens...in real life and in this situation.

This is what you do, you quote me actively misinterpreting what I'm saying, clearly not making any bloody effort to understand my rationale and then you ignore every counterargument I make and just repeat your false reply-logic (which is false not because it's your opinion but because it's a response to something you THINK I'm saying, even though I already refuted that successfully) post after post and end with some snarky remark to look superior and all it does is make you look stupid.
