I feel that her management (I'm sure Troy had a big part in this) saw how much money it could make and she begrudgingly agreed to it, as long as it was unique, hence the black liquid. After that, she probably decided to turn it into an era so we as the fans could enjoy the release and the Klein commercial. Eau de Gaga was probably a part of the contract left over from Troy's time, and that's why when he left she contractually had to release it, but didn't bother to do any big promotion other than release a commercial left over from the last Klein campaign and like...tweet a few times, lol.That makes a lot of sense and explains why she didn't put as much effort into promoting Eau de Gaga. Schizophonic 7,015 Posted October 29, 2015 Share Posted October 29, 2015 she already said while promoting it that it took long for her to say yes to the deal and she declined a few times.i think when it happened she was at a point very passionate about it and i´m pretty sure she loved the steven klein film to it but you can se already in the promoting interviews that she got really tired of it and almost didnt even talked like herself.and eu the gaga she didnt wanted but hat to fullfill the contract. At the end of the day, she's also a business woman, she might have periods in which art and music are the only things that matter but don't tell me that success and commercial numbers don't matter to her too. She wants the control, the music, art and passion but also commercial success, praise by critics and overall a position as a force in pop culture. There is nothing wrong with that!
