The interviewer kept asking the same question but in different words, it was extremely frustrating. This entire talk can be summarised in 2 instructions: be honest in response to "how are you?" and don't express negativity on social media. I could edit this to 10min max.

Gaga stans - only interesting bit was a new reason for her wanting to 'quit music' back in ARTPOP era: fragrances.

Because I'm...I am you. We are each other. We are.

ARTPOP philosophy is alive and well. :legend:

I can't at the guy trying to subtly take pictures of her while she sits inches away from him, and a livestream is recording his every awkward movement :rip: This poor guy :rip:

'I really don't like selling these fragances, perfumes, I don't like wasting my time, spending days just shaking people's hand and smiling, taking selfies, it feels shallow to my existence, I have a lot more to offer than my image. I don't like being used to make people money, I feel sad when I'm overworked, and that I'd just become a money-making machine, and that my passion and my creativity takes a back seat, that makes me unhappy. So what did I do? I started to say no. I'm not doing that, I don't wanna do that, I'm not taking that picture, I'm not going to that event, I'm not standing by that because that's not what I stand for, and I remember who I am. And then you go home, and you look in the mirror, and you're like ''yes! I can go to bed with you every night'', 'cause that person? I know that person. That person has balls, that person has integrity, that person has an opinion, that person just doesn't say yes, that person doesn't get a text from somebody and say ''omg they wrote this, and they sent this emoji, should I write this back? What do you think? Is that ok to say? Are they gonna like me if I say that? Should I say something different?''.

What a true revolutionary queen. This is what I mean when I say that she inspires me a lot.

yeah, I also liked that part a much. I just hope she doesn't (fully) include taking pictures with fans in that "shaking people's hands and smiling, taking selfies" line :/

She said what I always wanted to hear her say and I am so proud of her.

This couldn't have come at a better time in my life. Just yesterday I had my first ever panic attack. At work people asked if I was ok and when I said I don't know, they didn't continue the conversation. By the time I got home I felt so empty and my heart was litteraly racing. Instead of dealing with this myself like I always do, I decided to text my friends to say how I was feeling. And their genuine response got me through.

Now, especially after Gaga expressing literally how I've felt all my life, it's scary how every detail matched my story, I am not scared anymore. I'm not strong like her yet either, but I will be soon.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

those where my thoughts a bit as well. I think the thing is, is that the subject is not as palpable and defined as opposed to for example "global warming", "hospitalization insurance", whatever, ...    At least (just like gaga said herself), I felt like it was now clearer to understand what concrete things the BTWF does or at least envisions and what is its purpose. I remember watching the previous interviews (for example the Harvard one) and feeling the same way as the journalist before: "so what does the foundation actually do?"

She already has. During the C2C tour she very rarely stopped for fans. I found that very telling. Ofcourse she'll continue to meet fans, but only when she feels like it. Monsters can really be monster you know. Fans can be really disrespectful, not just to other fans, but to Gaga as well. Some of them only want a picture, they don't even bother being polite or looking her in the eye. They have taken advantage of her kindness it is time she takes control. She will still connect with all of us, but on her terms. She doesn't owe us anything besides creating her art, all else is a bonus that should not be disrespected.

thanks!

Yeah, I know, and it makes me kinda sad that the annoying part of the fan base would ruin it for it :/  Hope she continues to realize we're not all like that.

When she and Tony came to my hometown with the C2C tour, I was quite sad that she didn't stop to take pictures. Well, she didn't even show herself, we hadn't seen her enter the site. Some people claim to having her seen leave the site, but I don't (fully) believe them, because I was also there and the SUV's drove away immediately, so even if it's partly true, she would have just stopped the car for maybe like one second a bit further up the road

It's true though. Sure, you should be able to say what you want. But the idea of "freedom of speech" has become an excuse for so many to be an asshole and spread negativity. Freedom of speech shouldn't be seen as a convenience; it's a responsibility. And people who abuse it by dumping a lot of hate on others should be encouraged to shut the f*** up for a sec and think about what they're doing, rather than just saying "I've got freedom of speech".

So in otherwords, you're in favor of censorship

I think she will continue being as nice as before with her fans on her next tour or when she puts out her next album
