The only reason Taylor might be on another touring force level is because she charges you your life just so you can sit on sky. Katy charges her fans fairly, and isn't greedy. 

Taylor has always been a touring force. It simply continues to get bigger. Her prices are fair, and she could have charged more, considering how fast she sold out. Many of Taylor's tour stops were a step up from standard arenas and she also sold out stadiums. Katy had a lot of lower grossing dates outside of the US because she had to offer cheaper tickets to move them...and she still ended up with a show that wasn't completely full.

Taylor will gross more on fewer dates because the demand was there and because she played much bigger venues. The same type of demand wasn't there for Katy.

Who's to say that moment won't come? I wasn't talking about her follow up record. Naturally, those sell well 90% of the time. I'm talking about the next one, and the next one after that when I said this. History has shown that people who make these bestseller inevitably fall after the follow-up.

When people put their highly opinionated declarations and predictions out there, they are going to get quoted when none of the predictions are remotely close to coming true! Strong opinions are going to get called out, when they start crumbling to the ground. If they put it out there, they get it back...and I was nice enough to not @anyone or call anyone out by name, unlike what you've done with me and others multiple times. 

The predictions that Adele was going to have a hard time selling, or that she was a "one album" artist or that people were sick of her because she was overexposed were all wrong, wrong, wrong. Just look at this record! 

Like I said before, they still could. You're going to have to bookmark me for a while, but I still believe in what I say. And some may say that by not calling me out, it's better. I think it's just as bad or worse because then you're trying to hide your nastiness and taking advantage of my lower likelihood of seeing it.

I think you two misunderstood what I meant by saying "her Blackout or ARTPOP era". Those two eras were underperforming (both commercially and critically) eras for Britney & Gaga. That's why I mentioned those eras, not because Britney had a mental breakdown in 2007 or because Gaga suffered from depression in 2013-2014. I would NEVER wish mental breakdown and depression upon ANYONE, EVER! 

see the thing here is that Gaga suffered from depression, and a large part of it was the backlash from the media (and even some fans) [along with the management mess and her feeling betrayed] so it's kind of a dual package in the way that you worded it. As for Britney, one can only assume that the album also played some role in the breakdown. Tbh, you never really stooped that low so I was very angry and disappointed, even more so having suffered through depression myself. I get that wasn't your intention now, but its the way that it was worded, along with your very, er, public dislike of Taylor, that probably led quite a few people to believe that you were insinuiating that you wished depression and mental breakdowns upon her. Lets just remember to think about how people may view something that you're saying based on context and previous experiences, and for me,  that you probably shouldn't jump to conclusions without knowing the true intentions of someone else's words. I apologize for the harsh words, it was just really angering to see something that i thought was implying that.

No, you were talking about this follow up record and have been saying the same thing for at least the past two years. You specifically referred to 25 and the era that accompanied it. Adele had "waited too long" and she was "overexposed last era", which of course meant that Adele would crash and burn...."just like what is going to happen with Taylor". You were wrong. Your predictions were wrong and they are all off with Taylor, as well. People are not sick of Adele and they don't care if it was two or five years between albums. Adele's "laziness" as you put it, or the real fact that she was taking some time to be an adult, wife and mom while still working on music and writing songs...didn't mean a damn thing to the general public. They were ready and waiting, just like everyone else knew they would be! 

Eh, I just thought the quote summed up the doubters. It's the first one I came across, but I could bring over so many more.
