Katy wants to buy the house but they didn't want to give it to her and sold it to somebody else without Katy's consent, so Katy SUED them

Katy is sueing a group of nuns because they won't sell her a house? Why doesn't she just find another house? Does she have to have THIS house?

I guess she is used to getting whatever she wants, because she has money and she is a "star". Guess what Katy, we don't always get what we want!

No. Katy offerted money for the House and the Archdiocese accepted. The nuns freaked out because they wont see a penny out of it so they sold it to some girl who wants to make a hotel. Who actually owns the building is confusing tho, but i think its the Archdiocese.

She should just find another house. There are reasons that we don't get what we want sometimes. Maybe this wouldn't be a good investment in the long run or something else is right for her. It's a house, there are other ones you can buy.

There are other hotels in LA, what does the other person want to make a new one or make that specific place an hotel? That kind of thinking is fallacious. Try again when you can make an actual argument.

I don't think the other person is sueing or being sued, so what do they have to do with anything.

This isn't an argument, just an observation. I think it is silly to act like this is the only house in the world. My thoughts on the matter is that she should find another house, because sometimes things just don't happen like you want them to. Sometimes you don't get what you want and there is usually reasons for that, something that will reveal itself later.

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

the "other person" is the one being sued.

"The archdiocese claims in a statement, “The sisters have been taken advantage of by the Hollister transaction.” That’s the line Perry has taken as well, suing the entrepreneur for interfering with her contractual rights to the sale."

And once again, your "observation" works just as perfectly for the woman being sued. Next time at least read the opening post before opening that mouth of yours. God Bless :proud:

I read it and this is my opinion. A house shouldn't be something you sue people over, not unless that house was in your family or something like that.

If the owners of the house don't want to sell it to you, move on. There are other houses to buy.

What a mess. I thought I read at some point that Katy wanted to destroy the house and rebuild, I guess not. Shouldn't buyers remain anonymous to avoid stuff like this?

the actual owners are the archdiocese, aka the people who Katy contacted, not the nuns. :proud:
