Name another recent song that is even remotely on par with this level of soul, talent, or authenticity. Don't have to be bitter just because she is being praised by everyone. It's very rightfully so (unlike Taylor Swift), and we're not exaggerating when so many of us are saying this has brought so much A game compared to the rest of the songs in mainstream music. Forget that it's Adele, I'm so genuinely happy that this kind of raw talent is being received so well when it's 90% not the case.

That was quite unnecessary. Somebody can stan for Taylor and - unrelated to that - don't love Adele's music. And Adele has a song with Max Martin on her new album

It took a couple of hours to chart high in the US because it was available after 4 AM on the East Coast, 3 AM Central, 1 AM West Coast. No one is up buying music at that time (except me for this song lol). She still slayed everyone and is #1 now
