We're 4 episodes in and I can see the direction, acting and writing is becoming a mess like Freak Show.

I can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out. Although it was weird how Holden's mom didn't have more of a reaction to Holden killing the dog, and how Holden just "shows up" at home. How did he get there?

Alex brought him home

no :madge:

Yes, I'm not the only one saying this and I'm not criticising Gaga but the show itself.

I really dislike the John/Holden storyline, the child who plays Holden is terrible at acting.

His acting is on point for an eternal 3-year-old vampire child imo. He basically doesn't need to do almost anything besides stand up and say one-word phrases.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

So far, it seems to me most people are unimpressed with this season? I'm hoping for a great backstory for Gaga's character tbh with amazing emotional flashback scenes that will proof for once and for all to the GP that she is able to act.

I'm just waiting for Liz Taylor's background then I'm done with this season.

Boring as episode. I'm getting a little bored with Gaga's character being so plastic all the time.

Evan Peters was the only good thing about the episode. Give him an Emmy please. He's bringing it.

Eh, it could have been better. The Devil's Night dinner party was a bit of a missed opportunity. They could have done a lot more with it and made it more exciting.

Also John and his wife just weren't acting like real-life humans in this episode. Why would John not be a little more curious about the fact his wall was sodden with blood? Why would he just forget about it after a quick conversation with the maid? And why was his wife (whose name escapes me) seemingly so calm about finding her child again? Why didn't she seem more curious or confused about the fact her child had killed their dog and slept in a coffin?

My thoughts exactly. Nothing really flowed in this episode. Disappointing. Worst episode thus far. The first 3 were so good.
