Slayer 9,227
Eh, it could have been better. The Devil's Night dinner party was a bit of a missed opportunity. They could have done a lot more with it and made it more exciting. Also John and his wife just weren't acting like real-life humans in this episode. Why would John not be a little more curious about the fact his wall was sodden with blood? Why would he just forget about it after a quick conversation with the maid? And why was his wife (whose name escapes me) seemingly so calm about finding her child again? Why didn't she seem more curious or confused about the fact her child had killed their dog and slept in a coffin?Sorry, I find the writing quite poor, to be honest. I love watching for Gaga and the actors, but that's about it.Gaga was better last week. I hope she gets more emotive scenes because I think she can be a great actress when she goes all-out. It's when she pares it back that her acting feels a bit stilted. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!
YSL 2,429
Omg this episode was so good!! Lily Rabe was fantastic, Evan Peters really surprised me with his role in this season, I love it! The last scene was so emotional and I just can't wait for more!
Bad Monster Kid 13,140
Anyone else think this was her weakest episode yet? She doesn't seem to have much chemistry with Chloe.

I can't tell sometimes whether Ryan Murphy is taking the piss or if it's just the laziest writing imaginable, and I can't tell whether the acting was terrible during these scenes or if they did the best with what they were given (probably a bit of both). I mean he was invited to a killers party and Ramirez (or it was Gacy) said that only those who took an advice from a master are invited. What kind of advice could he take from a "greatest serial killer of all time"? John is a mad killer and that explains why he acts so strange
Benji 20,113
I don't get it either. I asked a few of my friends, too, and they couldn't understand the logic behind that last scene. My only explanations would be that it's representing the turning of her life upside down or it's about being on the flipside. In all honesty, both are tacky but that's the only sense I get from it

Shaney 5,515
I found the Devil's Night dinner really boring. Compared to how gory and homo the rest of the season is looking, it was really tame to be a "Halloween" episode. They could have done so much more with Dahmer. I also get the slightest feeling that some of the characters invited to the dinner will barely be featured in the rest of the episode, like Dahmer and Aileen, and whoever the other people were. I hope I am wrong. Interesting how Elizabeth wasn't invited and had nothing to do with it. Maybe Elizabeth decided to put her power to good use, what I mean is, help turn people's lives for the better. So Elizabeth gives people the virus out of compassion rather than just to kill people for some sick passion, which is kind of going against what James March is about. and plus, if Elizabeth was his wife, does that hint at some drama between them? But if there was drama between March and Elizabeth, wouldn't March have killed her by now? Do they have some kind of peace agreement?I can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out. Although it was weird how Holden's mom didn't have more of a reaction to Holden killing the dog, and how Holden just "shows up" at home. How did he get there?Come on Murphy, if you can't make things make sense, make the episodes longer to accommodate explanations.
Pablo 7,780
I need so much answered! Why/how does the countess see potential in children? Where was Kathy Bates character? iloveit123 130
Anyone have the listing of the songs played in the episode :)? No, not all of them, but I was VERY happy to hear Natalie Merchant's "Carnival" when Lily Rabe first appeared. It's on one of my fave albums ever from Natalie, "Tigerlily"
Bad Bromance 5,809
Anyone else think this was her weakest episode yet? She doesn't seem to have much chemistry with Chloe. I actually thought her acting was pretty good, especially during the scene when Chloe points the gun at her and when she explains how she can live forever. Next week's episode looks to be even better. Can't wait!! I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

thatfoxyfeeling 13,005
I really dislike the John/Holden storyline, the child who plays Holden is terrible at acting.
