My dreams:

- pop album in Q2

- jazz album in September like CTC just before Grammys deadline, but without the same promo a la CTC just some. Just to secure a Grammy.

- Tour for the pop album later

even if she was going to release more jazz i feel like doing another record of standards with tony bennett again feels very predictable and boring. the way she always presented herself - as an innovator and songwriter - doesnt fit making two records of the same type, even if she releases another regular studio album before.

why doesnt she write jazz songs herself? why do another set of covers with probably the same band? why not try something totally new?

GOOD. I'm thrilled! Tony Bennet is THE REASON Gaga is in such a great place right now. He is a fantastic influence & honestly, you can see her true passion for jazz just shine when she performs it. Much more than pop. I am nervous for her putting out a pop record again & her seeing all the b---hy whining fans dragging it as usual & nitpicking things. I really don't want her in a negative place again now that we all see how happy she is.

The idea of Gaga and Tony churning out another trite collection of standards doesn't thrill me a bit. Particularly when the genre of jazz is so ripe with potential. But hey, if it makes them happy and fore fills their creative desires to release yet another monotonous rendition of Night and Day, I'll support them, at a distance. But I'll sooner suck the hemorrhoid off a dead cat's rectum then buy another Lady Gaga album at Starbucks.

Just like CtC, its probably gonna take forever to be released.

(Announced in 2011/2012, released in 2014)

now that theyve tested the waters this one might come earlier. However the article implies they havent even started working in it yet.

I was hoping for a studio version of La Vie en Rose on the next album but I guess not

Same  that and "My Romance"

I wonder if they're sticking with the plans to use the "Red, Hot and Blue" collection. It sounds like it  Can't wait :sara:

Also, I can't see the promo, tours, and general activity being as heavy for this next one like it was for Cheek to Cheek. Honestly, I'm happy Gaga's finally (sort of) sticking to something that she said  "a jazz album every year" :legend:

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

I'm not "angry".

But if it's not a x-mas album, it better not come before LG5 :smh:

Stressed, depressed, but well dressed.

probably because she wants to collaborate with Tony again. He is 89, it's a great opportunity to be a last partner of such a legend, it's obvious he's got not much time for doing music. I'm sure she will release her own jazz album, she just can't do it with Tony. An album of jazz standarts and a few Lady Gaga songs would be a bit messy
