This last LP by Lana is just pure bliss, and I think it's very underrated by GP (although critics praise it). I even consider this one to be deeper and more sophisticated than her previous efforts. That one was so boring and the lack of a theme was one of the reasons why I didn't like it as much as BTD and Paradise.I feel like this is her best piece of work after Born To Die, lyrically better and sonically amazing. She dropped all of her usual clichés, foul language, shock factor, etc - really everything cheap and juvenile from her prior music. This album finally allowed me to take her seriously as a musician and be undistracted by stuff that seemed try hard and superficial.
