This sounds like something Madonna would say. Makes me a little sick tbh.

I don't know what she's hiding from, but there's a lot of room for backfire on this strategy.

But a good artist is the one who pays attention to this kind of stuff in order to become better and learn from their mistakes.

But she always listens to the fans, she just doesnt pay attention to people that act like they know better just because they are paid to talk

For example: Peter Buchanan, NME, etc, just **** press that talk nonsense that its not worth reading, or articles saying that Westboro church guys are mad, or a lame magazine saying Jo was a bad idea.

Like if she had any REAL negative press, other than some singles bad performance, and the BTW/EY bull****, there wasnt really bad REAL press towards her

I think it's healthy to read negative press and It will give her thicker skin. This is an artist that has said she doesn't care what people think and to learn not to care she needs to read negative press

They're acting like this will last forever. She will most likely stay away from press while in other countries doing the tour, but as soon as she comes back to America, she will need some press to hype her American tour and whatever single she might be ready to promote.

Negative press can be a good thing, though. In some cases it provides audience feedback. If you're audience isn't loving what you're doing, you're not doing your job.

Although, having said that, negative press can also steer you in the wrong direction, because it is an outsider view.

Death @ you literally copy-and-pasting this from ATRL.

Anyway, I'll just say what I said over there:

She really needs to pull her head out of her ass every now and then. Negative press can actually be helpful as long as it's constructive and professional. She seems to surround herself with a bunch of yes men, and that's not good for her career. She's gonna learn her lesson pretty quick if she doesn't change her outlook soon.

emsuD.gif what lesson, she's never done anything wrong, and she never will

Stop making these dramatic thread-tittles. Sometimes you make me think you want Gaga to do exactly what you want her to do, and that you don't appreciate her art.

@Topic: I think it's good for her to stay away from the press for a while.

Can I just say, regardless of what Gaga said: NME is acting like a petulant child.

So obnoxiously passive-aggressive. How much press and material are they going to try and drum up over ONE goddamn tweet from her? Like, I *like* NME and am a casual reader, but this seriously just reeks of a distinct lack of professionalism. It's actually kinda sad. They seem beyond pressed. It's just so bizarre to me to see a professional publication that covers THOUSANDS of artists be this creepily passive aggressive about one tweet. Jesus.

But a LOT of the stuff critics say are as far from constructive criticism you can get.

I won't die, but I can't live without you
