Every time I see Ann Coulter I am reminded of that Boondocks episode.

ME TOO! I've said for years, I just think she's a VERY elaborate troll.

I am not familiar with Ann Coulter, but she made a valid point against Raven. I used to have so much respect for Raven as a fiercely real woman, but over the last few years I have found her comments to be very problematic and sometimes discriminatory. The final straw for me was the "Watermelondria" comment. Children do not get to choose who their parents are and what they name them. Just because someone has a quote on quote "Ghetto" name doesn't mean they can't meet the qualifications of a job. What if Raven was informed she wasn't hired because her hair looked "Ghetto" or "Ratchet", or her name sounded ill-educated? What would her opinion be then? 

If you are going to share your opinion, which I encourage everyone to do, at least think before speaking, and remember to defend YOURSELF by making sure you are concise and make valid reasoning.

Raven Simone of all people making fun of other people's supposed 'ghetto' names when her first name is RAVEN and is dating someone called AzMarie... -->AZ<--- for ****s sake AND as she said that in front of a woman named WHOOPIE. She took internalized racism to a new level that even WHOOPIE Goldberg was shocked.

Anyway I'm glad Ann called her out.

And in what world is Raven a ghetto name? Just because black women are named Raven more often doesn't mean it's ghetto, talking about racism over here.
