MEDONER 1,676
No. If anything it's overrated.
holy scheisse 22,252
i was one of those that would not let go of TFM and hated BTW in the moment. but in retrospect i see that its actually perfect. so intricate, creative, and innovative. bionic 49,770
I've started a campaign to have it amended to 72. stream bionic
FATCAT 59,992
I mean, it's just a score. It's not like it actually means anything. BTW could have a score of 14 and it wouldn't change the fact that its a great album. Don't get caught up on the numbers, they aren't real. This kitten over here (meow)
Tove Lo 2,481
Born This Way is the best album ever and deserves at least an 80. No. If anything it's overrated. hop on that **** like a maniac
ThisGuyTony 30,138
71 is good but it should be higher. I think there was some biased reviews that judged her personality and gave her a 0 or something.
mariomania1234 11,368
It should be her top rated album. It's my favorite pop album to come out this decade. It's so unique, innovative and so her. The melodies are top notch and the production is out of this world. For what ever reason Gaga brings out a lot of haters. A lot of the best artist have a lot of haters. As MJ said: "The bigger the star the bigger the target"
UmbriaWitch 325
I'm not good with averages, but does anyone know how many points it'd have gone up if that review that gave it a 0, gave it maybe a 7 or 8?
GloZell Green 11,723
Who cares, it's the critics, people who criticize fame they don't have but yearn. Sales and cultural impact >>> critic opinions Lady Gaga | Shakira
Wolf 1,328
Exactly. Like 1989 is a decent album and she does write all of her music, but I just can't comprehend a world where 1989 gets a 76 and BTW a 71...I KNOW like which album should deserve much praise?? the one that is personal, thought provoking and gives a positive messageor one that is all about teenage love, and with a diss track smh
Klou 2,414
Critics are harsher on her than the average music artist IMO. If that were her debut album and no one knew anything about her, it would probably be 80+.
Riot Poof 2,236
71 is still good for a mainstream synthpop album tho. But y'all stay pressed at 1989 when it's not the problem here. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.
ShockPop 7,747
Metacritic is completely inaccurate as they don't use all reviews."Everybody hated the chocolate cake. We only asked 2 people out of the 20 that ate it, but now we know."
Alien Tulip 12,428
It's not my favorite gaga album but the fact that its metacritic score is lower than 1989 shows how inaccurate the scores are. Born this way is an album that you sort of have to listen over and over to understand and it's clear that the reviewers only listened to it once. Whereas Taylor Swift's music is pretty much a spoon feed for the General Public, specifically the white girls that go to starbucks and talk with a valley girl accent. Lippoutou 4,568
Even the instrumentals can stand by themselves without any vocals. Judas' instrumetal litterally slays But yeah Born This Way is my favourite album ever
