Warholian 6,880
In 'Checking In', we end with a flashback to 1994 where Iris kills Sally and Gaga slays with her already iconic line. Does anyone else find it interesting that, in Murder House, the season that's obviously most connected to Hotel, the year that Tate shoots up his school and dies is also 1994? It wasn't just a single flashback, but it was shown and referenced multiple times throughout Murder House. If we want to get deeper and maybe a little less likely to be meaningful, the other year flashed back to in Hotel is 2010 (that kid getting kidnapped and Wes Bentley and his wife separating). 2010 was, just like 1994, continuously used in flashbacks for Murder House. It was the year Vivien finds what's his face cheating, as well as the year that the the gay couple moves into the Murder House and are killed by Tate. And, finally, even deeper and more of a reach, the little girl mentions the 2011 Japanese tsunami and Fukushima nuclear meltdown to her dad Wes Bentley when refusing to eat sushi from Japan. This is a little weird for an 8-9 or so year old to know about in 2015 as they'd be around the age of a toddler then, plus it's not even relevant in news media. Of course, 2011 is the year that Murder House airs in and is set. So, the three years that are mentioned/flash-backed to are all majorly involved in the plot line of Murder House. Do you think this could actually have meaning? Or do you just think that Ryan Murphy is making sure the years match up in case he wants to add in some connection in later seasons. diskuszs Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Mark 4,065
Let me represent those Gaga-bandwagoners: I have no idea because I only watched AHS for Gaga and I love the series now more than ever. On topic, I kinda think Ryan just want loop holes with those timelines so he could insert his... storylines if he needed to. But a good observation though. Now, I feel like Gaga and Ryan are the same, they make stuff anytime according to what they feel in the moment. 00026 † 10000
