Paper Gangsta 6,693
Croatia did not seem so much better than Turkey when it comes to gay rights/gay life, I am surprised that it is that higher up on the rank... It's not. Idk why is it always high on these lists. Maybe prime minister is bribing them

Ivannn 1,150
In Croatia there is civil union for gay couples. You can inherit your partner. You can even by law end up as one one custodian of the children of your partner. It can get better but all of this in the last year or so so this is maybe the reason for good rankings. Leftist government in Croatia did a lot for gay rights and they really try to change the perception of the gay community.

kimchi 98
Well Germany is pretty gay friendly. Especially the huge cities (Cologne,Berlin,Hamburg) True but we lack the legislative components. As soon as they finally legalize gay marriage I expect it to rise a couple of spots.
kimchi 98
What Azerbaijan has to do with europe? Surprised that Germany is so average In many cases, all countries west of the Ural / Caspian Sea and north of Iran are considered "European" geographically. They are not part of the political union (yet) but that's one of the reasons why they can participate in events such as the Eurovision Song Contest and European Soccer Cup. But there's a big discussion where to draw the line between Asia, Middle East and Europe. Some even include whole Turkey to Europe.
