So one person didn't like her acting. Big deal. As with everything, some people will like it, some people won't. Obviously, the negative reviews will do the rounds and make the haters happy, while the good ones will be forgotten in no time.

It really is always the same, why still care what some random journalist thinks? He's just one person. Make up your own minds after you watch the show, this is Gaga's FIRST big acting role, give her a ****ing break and don't freak out over reviews. You know they're in for the kill.

EVERYBODY in here KNEW her voice acting is still not on point. (we saw her in 2 cameos and we arleady knew)

 

but hey... a news. Creative people like Gaga always get better by doing and doing and doing.

So i'm not even worried about that. I knew she would be destroyed by the media for her first leading role. 

Still, I'm sure A LOT OF PEOPLE wont even notice her low key acting voice. 

But again, no matter what she will be doing in the future, (as it was like this in the past) she will always teared down by some media. Have you see what king of television are we watching?

I could do some research but how may shows on the tv put people against to each other? And not in a fun and peaceful way like it is in a tv game (futune wheel).

The society react to failure. The only thing that wash away all the despair during those tv shows is that at the end they have put the winner in a GOD like place. 

But hey, another news. This is like selling an iPhone. Every year the same thing, Every time the same words mixed in other ways. 

So I really don't worry about Gaga's Acting, I found it off when I first saw her. My reaction? A smile. 
why?

BECAUSE GUY we have the very chance to see an artist like Gaga progressing. Have you heard her vocal on ARTPOP? I mean, she is getting better at everything she does. 

Acting is something you have and you grow. She has it. We know. She need experience. And this is an amazing training and she can really get a lot of inspiration by staying around those people. 

What worries me is that the publicity machine put her so in front of this project that it was obvious that everybody would have something to say about her small screen debut. Everybody chanting how good she is while acting but those publicity stunts from Ryan could become dangerous for her.

The guy didn't even was so bad about her. He just said you notice her acting (so she is not so natural)
And guys, last new: SHE IS A THEATER GIRL. And Theater people tend to have over the top facial expression that are less subtle from a screen show.

In the cameos she played she was OK so I'm sure I wont be disappointed also because her body acting si GREAT and anybody can deny this, just fools.

Well, it's not surprising...but I'll wait and see it for myself before I come to any conclusions...remember how tough critics were on her when they were reviewing Cheek to Cheek? They were SO unfair...eventually ppl came around and Cheek to Cheek did wonders for the public perception about her...

this was so expected though lol. Don't yall remember her HORRENDOUS acting in the Marry The Night video??? it was so painful lol. I dont imagine this being any different

I actually thought her acting was good in MTN. I think the situation and the words she was saying were borderline cheesy and uncomfortable to watch, but her acting was good.

But why so much importance given to reviews? I mean yeah it's nice when people are saying nice things about an album you like or a movie you enjoy... but does a negative review affect your enjoyment in any way?

People freak out over reviews waaaaaay too much, ****ing Metacritic is brought up every 5 minutes... and it only adds to the pressure put on an artist's shoulders. I suppose bad reviews are bad enough for the artist, they don't need thousands of people freaking out over them on their fan forums.

Just my opinion! I think it's a little harsh to put so much pressure on Gaga's shoulders as it's her first big acting gig and she seems so excited about it that her own fans going like "**** I KNEW IT SHE'S GONNA BE THE WORLD'S LAUGHING STOCK AGAIN" just seems a little silly. Girl is loving doing this, who cares what the media will say?
