ChicaSkas 23,122
There are plenty of people who are fair and balanced in this fanbase. They give people the benefit of the doubt all the time, but Fusari has shown his true colors time and again for years now. The reason no one trusts Rob anymore is because he has proven himself to be untrustworthy. He sued Gaga and has repeatedly sent out highly negative comments about her in interviews and on social media. He questions her talent and calls her a liar. That repeated negative obsession with Gaga has been more than enough to make fans find him an unlikable and untrustworthy individual. You aren't giving him the benefit of the doubt, you are ignoring these comments and actions from him and making excuses for his behavior. You are free to do that, but you should understand that most people here have had enough of his nasty comments and general behavior towards Gaga. That doesn't mean that they haven't been fair and balanced in their assessment. I agree with you on some of the points you raised... I agree with you on the ignoring comments part. I am sick of the"Guilty Until Proven Innocent" mindset. Fair and balanced means impartial.99 percent of the people who post here assume his guilt. That is not impartial. The real question here is what leads him to say that horrid stuff? His behaviour is baffling at times, I can only attribute it to things we don't know about that went down between him and her.I mean it seems like career suicide at times. It seemed like 2 steps forward (interviews with fans, interviews with GGD, interviews where he said nothing but nice things) and 20 steps back (something about elevators, the remarks about Tony Bennett and Viagra, etc, ect, ect... )To me those were all 100 percent left field. Those comments, they weren't the nice guy I interviewed last year. I would have to think he was in a different state of mind when he said them, perhaps an altered one.I'm coming at this whole thing -- thinking --- ok, what is making you say these things? why do you say these things? Where is the "ok, I effed up, you effed up, mistakes were made, I still care about her, let's make the future better together" mindset?(note: I am NOT quoting him there. I am using those quotes to convey a general vibe).I just wish to God they could both come to some peace. I want it to be ok to like them each respectively for the work they do. I don't want to get hate emails just because I love his music and have the temerity to call my self a Gaga fan. I am the most hardcore Gaga fan as any, perhaps more so than average. Anyone who walks into my house and sees the art, the hundreds of categorized CD-R's and filed harddrives or reads one of my articles --- surely they will know. I come at all of this from a place of tolerance and respect. I want to give them both the benefit of the doubt. I respect them both. all this mudslinging crap makes me feel so very sad. Gaga has referred respectfully and positively to the majority of people she has worked with in the past. She keeps working with some of them. Rob is not someone that Gaga has referred to in a positive way for years and years. She doesn't want to work with him anymore, or she would contact him. They aren't going to work things out. Quiet frankly, I don't believe it would be good for Gaga's mental health to work with him again. She is in a very happy and mentally stable place in her life. As a fan, shouldn't you be happy about that instead of wanting her to go back to something that she obviously is in no way interested in doing? Gaga has moved on...it is time for fans to do the same! I felt bad for how he was getting so much hate from people. Do YOU own the 4' by 6' Perfect Illusion promo Poster? Will pay you for it. Whispering 18,865
Of course I am happy for her! She got beyond all the bad crap in her life, of course I am happy for here. I just felt bad for him not being able to make peace. I felt bad for how he was getting so much hate from people. He can make peace with himself and move on with his life. He is putting himself in this position. If he is truly that talented, he can go find another girl and "make her a star" or produce other hits. He was awarded millions of dollars, he could have moved on with his life after that. If he didn't, that's on him...and it has nothing to do with Gaga. Rob is/was getting hate from people because his words and actions were something to hate. If he wanted to stop the hate, he could change his actions. His words and actions were his choices. I felt bad for Gaga (and Tony), not for the grown man who was making the choices to spew the hate in the first place!

I see you added this. There is no reason to wish for Gaga to come to some peace...because she has done that. You can like Rob's music and support him, but you are just going to have to understand that after all the **** he has pulled and said about Gaga, there are going to be lots of fans that are going to have a negative opinion about him. Fans aren't going to continuously make excuses for his behaviors. He pissed that away with that mean spirited interview, those comments he made at that little session he had and those spiteful comments on social media. Also, there is no reason to have to give Gaga the benefit of the doubt. All she did was move on to different producers. She has a right to do that and as we can see, she has continued to grow and succeed in various ways. It isn't her fault that Rob didn't do anything successful with his life after she moved on with hers.
ChicaSkas 23,122
I've decided for my own sanity and out of respect for all if you I won't be discussing it anymore as the entire subject leaves me saddened. I have work to do, Gagaween is this month, and the 24 Days of Christmas is less than 90 days away... I can't let this distract me when its all out of all of our hands.I have to grow up and realize just because I want KoomBayAh and peace and mutual happiness doesnt mean I will get it. Stay gold, Ponyboy. But the rest of should feel fine calling him out for being a leech and an a-hole. I'm sure plenty of mean people have goodness in them, but the way you treat others is important and Rob has done nothing of any good for others in recent memory. All of his actions depict a self-serving man-child and it's not unfair for us to lay criticism on him for all the things he's said and done. All that being said, I admire your positivity and koombayah attitude.
