This Woman's Work?

I can imagine Gaga singing this with her soft angelic type of voice (as in the the pokerface chorus background vocals)

Why do people always think they're coming across as clever by saying they don't know someone? :rip:

I really hope that Gaga will release a song like that someday. Something driven by melody and vocals and pure, heartfelt lyrics. I know we already have songs like Dope and TIHTY - which I love - but for some reason I still long for something different. Something more magical, like what you posted.

Yeah that magic quality is what I want in her accoustic songs, and I haven't heard it yet sofar.

I've loved this song since I was a kid. It touches me so much. A lot of people say Kate has much better work (and she has fantastic work! -- pun not intended) but This Woman's Work is something so special and mature.

My mom insists that Maxwell's was the original song (and his version is very special to my family), which is surprising since she and my dad saw She's Having a Baby back then :flop:

:lmao: Maxwell was way later then Kate Bush....approx 10-15 years later :flop:

yes this song is also special to my family. I think this is one of her best. Have you heard the Director's cut version?  It's like slower version but as heartwrenching as the original, you can literally feel the pain of an older woman looking back on her life.

Yes, Gaga could do this.  I think this music video is as much of a masterpiece as the song itself:

I live outside the space time continuum.
