Sister 9,907
Yes, it has to be The Fame to The Fame Monster, she could do no wrong then. It was all perfect. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
Kacey Elizabeth 900
The Fame to The Fame Monster Her debut era, sonically and visually was about a pretty lighthearted surface with a tongue-in-cheek hidden intriguing message, but never without the fun and the color and the glitter. The next era, sonically and visually, became harsh, deep and dark. She presented the monster behind the fame, not just exposing herself emotionally in a more straightforward way (first monster behind the spotlight), but also simultaneously annihilated her figure as a pop icon by dismantling the worth and value of fame after having achieved it (the second monster). It was pretty genius and conceptually solid. That doesn't compare to ARTPOP's already chaotic and mindless concept going to a largely nostalgic feel of C2C that didn't make any sense in a context of continuity. But The Fame and The Fame Monster tell one story. This. Your Candy Perfume Girl
XGirlfriend 950
From C2C to now tbh. During C2C she would dress so classy on stage with Tony, then get spotted by paparazzi wearing fishnets and nipple pasties Truly Lady by Day, Gags by Night. Bad Bromance 5,809
I would have to say from Born This Way to ARTPOP. During the BTW era she had horns in her forehead and portrayed herself in a I-don't-give-a-f*ck kind of way to the GP. Her fashion statements were quite fierce and she went from platinum blonde to brunette to auburn to jet black and back to platinum blonde. IMO, this change was quite dramatic and amazing. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.
Bear 7,515
ARTPOP to Cheek to Cheek - For the intrinsic change that happened inside; from a very trapped, controlled and sad person that she visibly was during some of the ARTPOP era to a care free jazz baby, which is really heartwarming. It's like a Disney happy ending
