That's still not very good. New shows that are as heavily promoted as this one fall in viewership each week. The curiosity wears off, and the ratings fall.

For a show as heavily promoted as this was, those numbers are HIGHLY disappointing. Fox is going to spin those numbers any way they can (Example? Expect to see that "largest increase" thing A LOT), but the truth is those are not numbers they should be proud of.

They did this last week by adding an extra 3 million to the first episode because of streaming. It took them until Sunday to get 7 million views. That's not good :rip: I don't get why people can't just accept that it isn't delivering like it was expecting to. It's sitting there. It had a 1.4 rating compared to a 1.7 average last week. That isn't good especially when it was so heavily promoted.

Kinda a shame because the concept is cool, Ryan Murphy just didn't execute it well.

Do we know if they were planning on making this a multi-season show? Because I do not need more than one season of this even though I am loving it. 1 season and done is good for this show.

It's anthology series, every season is different, just like AHS

Really, was this confirmed?

From Wikipedia:

"Scream Queens is an American horror comedy anthology television series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan"

It's anthology series, every season is different, just like AHS

But Ryan said this though

"It's similar to American Horror Story in that it's anthological but different in that at the end of the first season there will only be four characters out of 25 left," Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter following a recent press screening. "And those four in season two will go on to a new horror genre — like a sorority is a horror genre to me, it's a place where there were horror movies in the '80s like Sorority Row — and they will go on. That's the format of the show."

So even if they change settings and add characters, the story will continue in some way

Sad that the ratings aren't super good. It's very entertaining but I still don't quite get if we're suppose to be scared or not. It's really almost too silly.
