Ray of Light 8,134
Die Young did a pretty good job of doing that already, so don't even worry Ke$ha.
grenziel 538
I'm incredibly sad for her. She does not deserve this, no one does. I will support and pray for her! Some of them want to abuse you, some of them want be abused.
gagzus 16,086
no offence but Tik Tok was the height of her career and Timber was only popular bc it was catchy. There's no career to kill tho...But still the quicker she gets justice from this rape charge the better for her

Riot Poof 2,236
I know there are a lot of complexities from this situation due to the contract Kesha signed or whatever, but the core of it is that Kesha might be punished for speaking out against Dr. Luke for s-xually abusing/raping her. That's rape culture, folks.I hope this at least sets a precedent that allows contract-signers to leave contracts more easily and protects people in the entertainment industry from predatory people. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

StrawberryBlond 14,932
I just want this case to be over soon, whatever happens. It's just so depressing. I only hope she is telling the truth because it'll really help bring this kind of crime to the fore but exaggeration could lead to the opposite. If Kesha is telling the truth but loses the case, this will be the end of her, but either way, I can't see her coming back. That's just how our culture works. Sure, we'll buy the album of someone who's come out of a break-up, but after being a victim in a s-xual assault case? Ew, no, they're dirty. As long as it's "mainstream" heartbreak, we'll support them, basically. Kesha never had credibility to begin with, so goodness knows what she'll do when her reputation has seriously suffered. Whatever happens, I hope this doesn't break her. Many a woman has self destructed after this much bad luck. I hope this at least sets a precedent that allows contract-signers to leave contracts more easily and protects people in the entertainment industry from predatory people.Too right - the industry is full of people like this. I've even heard rumours that some labels deliberately try to stop their artists from releasing new albums any way they can so they can basically stay on the label forever. Can you imagine how a predator could use this in their favour? Sign a naive little thing at 16 and then, with an iron padlock contract, have control over their career (their image, music, release date, etc). for years on end? It doesn't leave much to the imagination. More needs to be done to stop that. I don't get why an artist can't just walk away from a label if they genuinely don't want to be on their books any longer or why there needs to be album contracts to begin with. If the label wants you, they'll keep you, if they don't want you, they'll drop you. Why the need for contracts with a set number of releases in them? Mister Gaga 22,970
This is very sad. She doesn't deserve this **** you, Dr Luke. I'm pretty neutral to her music, but i won't denny that the girl has talent. She deserves a comeback.

ryhanna 3,507
I think the damage is already done. I liked her last album, but it's been three years, plus new music could take a good year or two to release whenever she has the chance. A half decade break for a star who wasn't really *that* big isn't great. That said, whenever she puts out new music I'll definitely be there to hear what she's got.
