well the answer is obvious. What made the song such a smash  tho it's not only the song itself but the epic video as well. Another song that it was meant to have a tremendous impact was the edge of glory but the awful video destroyed it's huge smash potential. With a video as epic as bad romance the song would have been huge. I hope the LG5 era to deliver only epic music videos directed by professional people and not by some photographers or gaga herself. Gaga was never just music, people connect with her music better through her videos and her performances.

which pop song during the last decade changed the music industry if not Bad Romance , i mean if your answer is not Poker Face or Born This Way i don't think your answer will be realistic thus deluded 

Bad Romance may seem mainstream now but when it first came out in OCT 09 you'd be crazy to think it was a mainstream hit, i remember monsters were scared **** for her, initially the song got mixed reactions from fans some feared it would kill her career coming from TF cause it was too dark, too freaky with the ga ga and ra ra hooks and too loud with it's chorus almost like a rock chorus. 

Gaga even said something along the lines that it was a risk and like nothing out there and it paid off the GP and radio ate it up , fans were relieved and it was the ultimate grower song. It's cause it was such an original Gaga song , TF singles were inspired by the 70's and 80's pop a familiar sound that was bought back to the scene. Whereas the sound of BR has never been done before making it her most unique song. 

It is the best Gaga song in the eyes of the GP and media so that's saying something 

is it the best Gaga song for the fans , well i'm sure at least 50% of the fanbase would say so , i can't see any other Gaga song having as high of a percentage when it comes to the most loved Gaga song by the fan base. Gaga daily seems to love her more complex efforts such as Venus and Aura. Twitter monsters are more into her highly acclaimed efforts such as BR and PF.

I definitely need another Aura...omg the trance heavenly chorus, the psychotic demo verses, the Middle Eastern complextro, everything was perfect

 

With every album she's put out...I have a fave song. And I tell myself...there's no way she can top THIS one...it's too perfect! Then the next album comes out and she DOES IT! When she leaked Aura...I lterally have NEVER cried reacting to a song before, but it was so beautiful and epic that I was just in bliss...I cant imagine a song more beautiful and epic than Aura...but ive been proven wrong every time...omg i cant wait!
