I'm not saying that the similarities in the song aren't there, just that no one gave two sh*ts about it when the album first came out, when the single was announced and then when the music video came out. Lana did not invent that style.  This is just them clinging to it.  good day

I would agree if this was 2012.

However, Lana has been repeating herself over and over again with her message, sound and visuality ever since then. 

It's very hard to take an artist seriously when they constantly try to recreate the moment they had when they peaked.

If i can talk about the good stuff of Taylor then i can also talk about how she ripped off vocal style, visual and lyrical aesthetics and a chorus from Lana up to 2051 and beyond if  i want to lol. No, I'm not defending the unfendable lol. Yeah sure, you can talk about it, as do a couple of butt-hurt hispter blogs and the Lana fans on ATRL, but other then them, no one is lol. If this were something big like say Express Yourself/Born This Way okay, I would totally respect your opinion and this debacle lol. But the fact that no one outside those circles care is proof that the "rIP OFF!!!1" is clearly a reach lol (not saying that a few similarities aren't there lol) But whatevs, I'm talking to an apparent Lana stan so there is nothing else to say lol

Ok... but that's not my point at all. Are you literally able to properly reply to me? you have done this before    In case you still dont get it, said point being "If x number of people think that WD sounds like WY and they wanna talk about it, they can do it". If we're "perched" and "clinging" that's our problem. In the end Taylor herself wouldnt be able to make me change my mind about the song, much less you lol.
