It was interesting to hear the different approaches to styling each of them have. You could definitely tell Brandon was the youngest. I loved that Gaga inspired and encouraged him to create his own fashion line. I feel like this would have been a different sort of interview if Nicola was on the panel, but at the same time I mostly feel like Brandon is green, but not necessarily unintelligent (compared to the other stylist panelists anyway). However, I do feel like he would be best at dressing an actress or model, someone who simply needs to look pretty for the InStyle awards luncheon or whatever because his tastes seem to lean toward all-American simplicity. For someone like Gaga she could really use either someone very edgy and in touch with what's going on underground and/or a really talented person who has a good eye for selecting haute couture and bringing fantasy to red carpet looks. You can't go so far at such an age and be dumb. He has a passion and a vision and that's got him where he is today. He's just an honest, hardworking no nonsense and non pretencious lad. Granted not a rocket scientist but he's good in what he does and anyone should wish to be this accomplished at his age (for me it's too late anyway but hey lol). It absolutely is fair to judge an individual based on an hour long panel discussion about their work. As I said, I'm sure he is a lovely man, but I don't think his approach to fashion is as intelligent as Gaga's previous stylists. Perez Hilton was also Gaga's friend, and I'm sure you wouldn't say he is intelligent and dedicated. Terry Richardson and R. Kelly also say hello.
