Did happen something between Gaga and Nicola Formichetti?

He gave Gaga everything she is now in terms of fashion recognition. I mean, no one wanted to give her clothes until he made that V cover asking designers for clothes without telling them for who it was. That put her in the middle of the fashion industry and it was thanks to him. 

+ experts agree that Gaga's style wasn't as consistent when she first started as it has been later, he helped her to organise her style and do it bigger, more consisten, more fashionable. After that, every designer was influenced and inspired by her, and they all wanted to give her their clothes.

They both have to be very thankful to each other, it is just that life put them on sepparate ways, he had to grow and do other things... and I don't think Gaga has a problem with that! She has always been very supportive of him.

Mugler as a whole is tragic and tacky for me, but I was really happy with the Gaga looks. Expect that one with the black dots on her face and that tragic blonde/black wig

I don't think so, I just think he was done with that job and moved on to Diesel. A change of scenery.

And I like Brandon's classy looks. I'd rather her look classy than "trashy". Time and place for that kind of outrageous styling.

His most recent interview about her he says he'll always be BFFs forever with Gaga but he dressed her through 2 eras (TFM + BTW) and he was tired.

I miss Nicola, he always nailed it. Brandon is a hit or miss but when he misses....he REALLY misses. I'm excited that Gaga is finally seeing Nicola again today after almost 5 years.

 I saw an interview with him in late 2013 and you could tell he still adores Gaga. I think Nicola just left because his whole goal seems to be to become a successful designer (which seems to be just about every stylists dream). It's too bad because he flopped and basically went back to square one after Mugler. By that time Brandon was fully implemented as Gaga's main stylist, so it would have been kind of rude to suddenly kick Brandon to the curb (and we all know how close she is with her team). I'd like for him to come back in theory, but he styles Brooke Candy now, and it's awkward that he's dressing her using the same aesthetic he did for Gaga. 

I haven't cared much for Brandon's C2C designs, and I feel like everything suddenly made sense when I read that NYT article about his tastes being informed very early on from his grandmothers Texas clothing boutique. I think he does does do well from time to time though, for example he made Gaga look amazing during the Applause era.

Anyway, I kind of wish Gaga could hire Lou Eyrich as her new stylist once Brandon leaves to do his own thing. Lou's been killing it dressing Gaga on AHS so far.  She's been looking SO expensive and fantastical in the best way possible as the Countess.

Most of Nicola's styling used to be tragic except for the Mugle stuff she wore and as strange as it sounds considering this IS Gaga I'm a fan of, I never liked her fashion when it was well... gaga tbh

He's working closely with Brooke Candy now.. Can't wait for the fashion!
