Enhsa 2,043 Posted September 10, 2015 Share Posted September 10, 2015 Rocker Damon Albarn has criticised songs from Adele's highly-anticipated third album as "very middle of the road".The Blur frontman worked with the Rolling in the Deep hitmaker on five tracks for the much-delayed follow-up to her 2011 record 21, but he is certain they will be rejected from the final album listing.He tells The Sun newspaper: "Adele asked me to work with her and I took the time out for her... And I'm not a producer, so... I don't know what is happening really... Will she use any of the stuff? I don't think so. Let's wait and see."The thing is, she's very insecure. And she doesn't need to be, she's still so young."Albarn also gave feedback on the material he had listened to, adding: "I heard the work she did with my friend Brian, aka Danger Mouse. Adele is a singer first, it just can't be bad, maybe only the subject matter or tone of the album can bomb, but she shouldn't care so much and release it. I can't imagine that these songs that she has done would mean little to her or not be something important that she wouldn't want to put out to represent herself or say out loud, so I feel like she should just put this work out and stop over obsessing about it.
