Hopefully they WILL get over that soon! Cause as long as that is The majority's view, she will not be asked to perform. We must remember its a football game, not a pop concert or something.Hardly anybody even knew Bruno when he performed, especially a football crowd. He impressed after his performance was over. Madonna was as big a gay icon as they come and she was on. They have been ignoring bands, which is what the football crowd wants, and putting on the Katys and Justin Timberlake. So why not Gaga? Her hits were universal, not gay. When she was massive, it's because she sold to the GP also.The football crowd would love a band and they aren't catering to them. So if they aren't catering to what they want, Gaga would put on a spectacle of a half-time show. The majority of the football crowd isn't exactly listening to Beyonce either, and especially not Katy Perry. Look at Katy's audience at concerts, filled with a lot of tweens.As far as I'm concernedm it should be a great band hat performs at a high level live or Gaga. It's 2015 and a lot of things with social acceptance has changed.... Many straights aren't afraid to admit they like Gaga now with the new social progress these past few years if if they don't pick Gaga it would be more based off her relevancy than the fact that she's too gay. Tbh I've always cringed at Super Bowl Halftime Shows and have learned that it can hurt careers more than it could help... I totally see Macklemore performing and doing a Downtown vs. Uptown Funk medley. West Side Story Style.
