She's not actually glamorizing d--gs/weed and influencing younger people with bad options, but rather the opposite. Her 'crazy' persona is so evidently a forced act and she is obviously making herself a parody of media sensationalism. With the involvement of weed/d--gs/alcoholism in Hollywood and in the music industry, her portraying such stereotype in such explicit and confrontational manner is actually making it seem less 'cool'. I think it's genius.'If you can't beat em, join em'I think Miley is actually succeeding in mocking the stupidity/tackiness in mainstream media and actually making people think about it twice. If I'm right, then I completely love her for it - for putting herself totally out there for the world to judge and hate her just to make such a statement. Is there anyway this can't be a valid theory of what she's trying to achieve? From the detest she's getting even from this thread alone just shows she clearly knows what she's doing would garner much hate and negativity. Not every little thing she does is some extravagant gimmick to get people to hate her. Actually, Miley seems like one of the few celebrities who doesn't give a flying **** whether people like her or not. she's perfectly content doing what she wants and not worrying what people on the internet have to say about her.
