Iwontell 7,312
"Neutral" like "generic"? Or "neutral" like "it doesn't stand for anything"? Can Miley pls make herself clear? ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Cupid Boy 410
well .. when i listen to the bangerz , i've seen a lot of different & Irregular melodies at one song and i can say this sentence about miley's work
PartySick 160,492
This is funny. A :10 snippet of any Taylor song is better than what Miley has just released. Why is there so much beef and potatoes in the music industry lately.. EDIT: Bye the way, I'm not one of those Tay fans that have to defend her by posting this comment. So don't try to make me roll an ankle on these heels sistrens, we all have different tastes. I don't think Miley's ever shaded anyone tbh. She's not lying in this interview and she was respectful and mature with her comments about Nicki. This really is overreaction and unfair media coverage, I'm just not sure why Miley is the target of that nonsense now even though there are others who are actually slighting people and being negative. There's a difference between opinion and shade, I just wish some people would learn that (not calling out anyone, btw, just saying ). I guess she's just an easy target? I hope she doesn't let it get to her, though. She's one of the artists I fully respect. And imo Miley's new album slays. A few of the songs are...well...tragic like I'm so Drunk and F*ckin' F*cked Up but I'd rather listen to Dead Petz than 1989, Red, or even Bangerz (which could also be considered a "neutral" album imo). You're stinky
Evan Peters 10,748
I was rooting for her but she is just so damn THIRSTY for attention. It's unbearable. thirsty bc she came for your fav and called her music neutral or just in general emma roberts is an abuser
Pop 4,541
thirsty bc she came for your fav and called her music neutral or just in general Nah, she already came for her before. I hated her tryhard behavior during the VMAs. It was repulsive. She has talent but she keeps distracting people from it with her insufferable antics. Evan Peters 10,748
I don't see what she said as something rude. she gave an opinion in a respectful manner. I don't even think she intended for what she said about Taylor's music to be twisted into some horrible thing (similar to the situation with nicki). I agree that Taylor's music is pretty neutral; it's pop, it's radio friendly and there's nothing wrong with that. I just don't get why people are calling her rude when she wasn't rude. she easily could have said Taylor's music was awful because it was neutral but she doesn't. so why attack her? I don't think Miley's ever shaded anyone tbh. She's not lying in this interview and she was respectful and mature with her comments about Nicki. If you like her, you're gross, hate her and you're great. It makes no sense. I will agree that her new album is good. it's different from Bangerz and doesn't sound generic in the slightest. emma roberts is an abuser

The reasons people hate her are so trivial too. "She tries to twerk and ugh look at what she's wearing! And the pot thing? Not cute." Like are we going to ignore the charity events, her own foundation, all the work she's done for the LGBT+ community, and the fact that she's challenging the norm in the music industry and trying to be a game changer all while still being able to have fun and taking us along on the ride? I guess the clothes she wears on stage makes all that irrelevant... You're stinky
Riot Poof 2,236
I guess "neutral" is the nice way to say "basic" now. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

Iwontell 7,312
it means reductive Oh...idk...I don't really listen to Taylor's music, but she has a good metascore, so how bad can it be?
