Gaga is a musical genius, but her not attending had nothing to do with that.

 

On a realistic point... VMA's didn't invite her...she wasn't nominated for anything and she's not promoting any new music rn sooo why would she be asked to come? It's sad but true... And even if she WAS asked to come...her not attending is a strategic plan as you said to keep her off radar until her next album era really starts...her attending would begin hype too soon when she's not ready yet

I mentioned in my post (if you read it all) that calling her a genius is a bit strong for this situation since it's out of her hands really. I thought I would go for it though since people are going as far as adding it to the 'list of betrayals' so I decided to go the other extreme. Pretty harmless imo.

I honestly think that if Gaga (or Bobby rather) asked to perform, they would let her since they probably would want the A-list singers. That's besides the point really. All my post was saying was that her not attending when the gp, fans etc are thirsty for her, she was silent and did nothing. I'm just saying it was a smart move because it forces everyone to think that it would have been better with Gaga there, putting a positive thought of her in their minds.

Whether she was aware of it or not. It was the perfect possible outcome.
