Very true. I like to think about pop culture as an ever-moving fluid. Not a book with pages of each artist back to back, but a river running through our timeline all the way back to the jazz artists of the 1890's. When we see things that seem copied, or rather as some would say, stolen, we are merely seeing a reflection of the times.
