As someone who enjoyed the show more then the 2013 show (or any show since 2011), I agree it's not the same. It's less about the music and more about gimmicks then ever before. No...unfortunately I'm really tired of the whole thing :/ ...I really think that now, more than ever, it's just a silly popularity contest, and the surprise and relief that good performances once provided have been replaced by ppl working out feuds on stage, trying to be outrageous or confrontational...it's like one big attempt at creating viral content...Idk, maybe I'm just bummed out by what I just watched...maybe it's really how I think and I don't want to be a part of it - and don't want Gaga to take part on this mess...Idk, for now I'm just done with it... She never made that dress about herself and she always explained its meaning. It was carefully calculated to get people taking yes, but in the end Gaga had a clear intention that that dress was to shed light on Don't Ask Don't Tell, and not something to boost her popularity.
