yASSsss 35,510
I was listening to some old songs of Ne-yo and i remembered, back in 2012 he stated that Artists like Gaga won't stand the test of time.(oh,the Irony )This is what said- "Who was the last real icon to come out of the music industry?Everybody thought it was going to be Lady GaGa, but where is she right now, what's going on with her?Not to take anything away from her because she's ridiculously talented, but artists who stand the test of time - you just don't see those any more."What do you think?Did he spill some tea?Do you think she has what it takes to become a legend.Where do you see her 10-15 years from now.I know its not possible to predict her place in music industry just by looking back at her career. Its just a hypothetical question,so you can post whatever comes into your mind. Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine

Swan Heart 7,382
I believe she will. The respect for her will grow with time, because of her talent and especially her versatility. I'm pretty sure lots of artists will look upto her in the future. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be. Jjang 2,262
Well, she's been on a massive decrease in commercial success and social presence ever since 2010... Next album will tell.
Cocaine Heart 4,768
Yes she will. We going to boo
XoXoJoanneGaga 629
Most of her music so far will sound very dated in the future. But a lot of the great and iconic pop music from the 80's sounds dated as well so it's not necessarily a big issue, although much of Gaga's music is very overblown sounding. An album like 1989 will have a much easier time standing the test of time than an album like Born This Way largely just due to how impeccably the former is produced from the instrumentals to the vocal engineering.TFM will definitely stand the time and always be an iconic pop album. Hopefully she can make more amazing and timeless-sounding pop music with the next couple of albums while also having a creative and cultural resurgance. That would really cement her legacy
KyliesChild 16,907
I can't tell but she has the power to do so.

VforVendetta 2,024
I think yes and not because of the charts but because she is unique, she is an artist with her flaws, her struggles and her visions. There is only one Lady Gaga with all her good and bad things.
Lee 62
She is still only very young and has many different ways she can go. I believe in the future she will definitely venture into a rock sounding vibe, she may go for a strip down album an so on, so she will be around for a long time definitely. However whether her music will sound as good in the future as it does now is hard to tell. I think certain songs will remain pure brilliance but I don't know any album in the past that survived the test of time but greatest hits albums do. Riot Poof 2,236
I strongly believe that she'll be seen as a legend in 15-20 years.Somebody's longevity isn't apparent in the beginning. I mean, someone said that Cyndi Lauper will outlast Madonna. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.
RAMROD 109,246
Yes, been 7-8 years in since her major debut. Not many artists can do that these days. Most new artists are only shine for a season and never to be heard any more.Let alone having a big boom Gaga had circa 2008-2010.Her throne won't be replaced because she earned it.So long she keep herself ambitious, she can keep this going on for a long time.
