giskardsb 12,565 Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 So, this fanbase sometimes reminds me of the scene in "The Ten Commandments" ( and bible story obviously) where Moses goes up to get the ten commandments and meanwhile the Israelites decide to create a golden calf and worship that. So many threads and responses lately lamenting how Gaga has changed and is no longer some "golden" version of "old Gaga" that people have created to worship in their heads.With this metaphor in mind I hearby play the role of Moses and give you the Ten Commandments for Gaga fans. Sin at your own peril.1. Thou shalt not make a golden effigy of any particular Gaga version.2. Thou shalt judge Gaga on her artistic merits, whether commercial success follows or not.3. Thou shalt give Gaga leeway for being a creative right brained, sometimes non-logical individual.4. Thou shalt realize that sometimes "**** happens" beyond Gaga's control.5. Thou shalt endeavor to understand her changes in direction rather than simply complaining.6. Thou shalt leave yourself open to new experiences and music that Gaga points you to.7. Thou shalt allow Gaga the freedom to decide who her friends and lovers are. 8. Thou shalt allow Gaga to explore her artistic boundaries.9. Thou shalt allow Gaga to grow,mature, and change her mind, as is the providence of all free-willed beings.10.
