I instantly feel in love with it and it is still my favourite song off ARTPOP and for me, is in mt top 5 from Gaga!

the first time I heard it on the radio, I was so overwhelmed, it was mind blowing (it was like number 3 on the Dance Chart or something at the time) it is actually quite known and generally after someone says, "Do what you want!", people respond with the tune of that line, haha!

I still hear it in shops where I am and I belt out all of the lyrics in my head and stroll around walking to the beat of the song and die a little.

I was BLOWN AWAY when I first heard the song. It was one of the few times that I absolutely loved a song on first listen.

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

If my memory serves me right it was #1 on iTunes in 83 countries, even in more countries than Applause which was only #1 in 60+.

I adored it and I truly thought it had the chance to outpeak Applause but unfortunately we didn't get the music video. The reviews were insanely positive from fans, GP and critics especially from the GP. This song converted a lot of non-fans into fans. The pre-chorus just slays so hard it's a joke Dark Horse was nominated for Best Pop/Duo Group Performance and this wasn't.

I didn't really like the song on first listen. I thought it had a light and airy feel, which was fine, but it didn't captivate me and having a featured artist on it disappointed me. The fact that it also took time to understand the message of the song due to easy misinterpret-ability was a large drawback as well.

I was anxiously awaiting. I remember initially not knowing what to think. Sure I was freaking out cause it was a new Gaga song but it was just so different from Venus and Applause (which both seem to have the overall EDM/pop sound). I didn't know how it would fit into the album.

I did like the naughtiness of the lyrics :hor:

The next day, I showed it to my friend and she LOVED it. A week after that, I was driving two of my friends home from a party and they asked me to play it. I eventually started to dig the sound and before you know it, I finally fell in love.

I plug my headphones in and dance seductively in my room to the bassline. It sounds like love-making with a message.

I knew instantly it would be the 2nd single. It was obvious it was meant to be.
