That must have been terrifying to learn about. I'm happy you found a sense of comfort through the song. Even though you don't remember the incident, do you still have behavior and/or personality issues or changes because of having that experience? You don't have to answer if its too personal. I'm just wondering.

It's not too personal so no worries . Yes I have severe social anxiety and depression now. Both problems started from childhood. The social anxiety is bad enough that it interferes with being able to function in my daily life. It was strange/difficult growing up, because I never knew what caused it.

Wow. It must have been extremely frustrating growing up with those issues and not being able to recover because you didn't know what the root of your problems were. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I think it was very unfair to you that your parents waited so long to tell you. I hope you can eventually fully get over your depression and social anxiety.

From the perspective that people don't understand what being low means and that they push you without realizing what you're going through... I would say yes.

Yeah it gets rough sometimes, but at least I'm able to start recovering now. Everybody has their own problems, and we're all just trying our best to get by. Music can help with that, and TIHTY is a good healing song. I hope you overcome your own life struggles as well no matter how big or small they may be. Thank you for being so sweet!
